Staff Report of the 27th General Assembly of ICSU (2002)

Summary: Michael Clegg, Foreign Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences, led the U.S. Delegation to the 27th General Assembly of the International Council for Science (ICSU). Dr. Henry Metzger, Chair of the Board on International Scientific Organizations (BISO), and Marti Rabinowitch, member of BISO, were also members of the U.S. delegation. BISO is the board within the National Academies charged with the responsibility of managing the institution's membership in ICSU. Wendy White, the director of BISO, staffed the delegation and prepared this summary report.
